i don't know if i want to dip too much into the poem itself, but, um, let's see if i can pull a few spots out. So parmenides is saying this from the words of the goddess. He says, come now. I will tell you about those roots of investigation that are the only ones to be thought of. The path of what is not is entirely unable to be investigated. You cannot know it, nor can you declare it. If we were to look at this in a sort of modern perspective, as deterministic, i mean, you must say that in a world that is absolutely, 100 % ruled over by ananke.
