The Dangers of Writing a Precise Specification
I agree with what you say in that writing a precise specification is hard and humans are lazy. I think it's an interesting open question of as we start using more of these AI assistants, how good they will be at generating things that are actually simple. Although if we have precise specifications, the simplicity of the implementation becomes less important. And then there's some kind of back and forth process where you try and get something that's actually simple enough to be understood.
