Is Consciousness Created by the Brain?
Ike: Consciousness is either generated by the brain compete or it's not. I like to say, ike, the reason consciousness isn't the brain, a lot of people want to give it a straight up identity. It's because that's the way consciousness works when it's created by the brain. You cut the brain in half, you get two consciousnesses. That would be part of the compatibleist story. Ike: The thing that hits me is the idea that i agree that i absolutely have the perception of unity, and i have the of other people's unity. But, like, you know, i have all sorts of perceptions. Am so, like, why?
