Learn Japanese Pitch Accent Is Not a Fad, Right?

I'm not really in a position to judge them too harshly. It's just I can notice it because of getting all the input. Maybe when I get into outputting myself, maybe I can be a little more judgmental. But I am judgmental on the people who try to say that people learning Japanese pitch accent is a fad.
