Classical Theism - God's Knowledge Is Self Knowledge

According to thomas williams, classical theism affirms that all god's knowledge is self knowledge. God knows things not by a quasi perception, but rather by having a perfect comprehension of his own essence. In given divine simplicity, this knowledge is identical to god. And if there's real dynamism in reality, since god is omniscient then god's knowledge will likewise be dynamic, right?
