I think people have like a different risk tolerance or they see those things as being not as risky as we might see them. If you don't take a minute to go like hey what could happen here and then what can I do to make that lot less likely to happen that's to me the most basic obligation of a parent okay so I think it's that either the parent wants to have fun so badly they don't want to think about the consequences or they're just not thinking about the consequences at all.
