The Singing of a Stranger

In 1844, it was sung to a different melody. It is being sung here by Aaron West of the Church's historic site's team. The song narrates the story of a person who repeatedly serves a stranger in different states of distress. Whether thirsty, unsheltered, or beaten and left to die by a highway side, the person helps the stranger in every instance.
