The Superimposition of Reality
When we first encountered this thing, we said snake is. And then we corrected it. We had made a mistake. It's not a snake. Now we realize it's a rope. The easness actually belongs to the rope because even after you see the rope, it continues to be long and curved. So, in a superimposition, in an abdhyasa, what happens is a peculiar mixture of fact and fiction, of reality and appearance.
