"I remember my only experience with 4th of July, I was this overworked college kid that went to work and travel to the States," he says. "Just imagine this sweaty, dirty fucking little immigrant kid trying to get to his house to drink two beers and fall asleep." He recalls riding a bike down an empty highway at 11:30 p.m. as thousands of people dressed in red, white and blue walked towards him. It's already very scary to see a lot of Americans, but to see them coming out of a fog walking directly towards you after you've done a 12-hour shift is surreal.
