The Importance of Objectively Better Goals in the Fitness Industry
Greg: I think just kind of like the idea that whatever type of exercise or diet you subscribe to is objectively better than other ones out there because people have different goals. He says crossfitters who lift weights a lot of times instead of working on a maximum squat or deadlift aren't doing it for health and they don't want a 700 pound squat. Greg believes elite performance in almost anything is going to be unhealthy but he would never recommend running a fast triathlon time as an example.
