Zappos is all about making traines feel like family. Ariele says there's something caled cognitive dissonance, that says that if you've acted in a certain way overtime, you're going to awfully justify your behavior. Quitting a religion seems especially traumatic with the religion, family and community all mixed up. When i think of costs, i think of the things i miss. And definitely the community atmosphere of knowing your place in the community is part of the costs.
