The experience of positive emotions and the minimization of destructive negative emotions is important, in fact, essential for learning. Emotions are fundamental to learning and to teaching. As a teacher you have a primary responsibility for setting the emotional state of the learning environment so as to promote and spread positive emotions both in the class room and on line.
