The Evolution of Animals on Other Planets

The process of evolution that occurs on Earth is likely to also guide the evolution of animals and critters on other planets. "We've known about natural selection for 150 years and it's just one of those things that's inevitable, it's going to happen everywhere," he says. The interactions between life forms are what's driving the diversity on this planet. And so understanding how those interactions are driving diversity gives us a much deeper understanding of those processes.
