South Africa's Putin Problem
South Africa is a signatory to the International Criminal Court Rome statute. It has to arrest Putin if he comes into the country and it's been trying to find ways of avoiding having to do that. So far it's considering either moving the summit to a different country, hosting the summit online or coming up with different laws so that it can find a workaround. The latest law is to give diplomatic immunity to all summit attendees as a way of getting around attempting to arrest Putin.
