Learning Programming for Automation, Isn't It?

Jay Parini: The whole point of automation is solving a problem. It's not learning to code or, you know, solving world peace. But it's about solving a problem that you have that you're facing right now. And so often, again, if you're trying to solve a problem, you're going to learn it a lot faster than if you're just trying to learn in the abstract.
