And i feel like it's that kind of thing were because there's this great podcass with patrick rothfis,. who wrote the name of the wind, and then this guy named max timkey. The problem is when people refuse to acknowledge that the theme or controlling idea is important. So you can either fly by blindness and hope that a theme emerges as you're writing
