LZ Granderson: Seeing your kid who maybe is acting like they don't really care if they have friends or anything like that, they still want to feel connected. So what do we do when these assumptions don't seem true? LZ: We can't let ourselves off the hook because we're talking about kids, even teenagers. And lots of kids are much more anxious than they were a few years ago. He says just being alive can bring that up; it's important for parents and teachers to talk with their children in this way.
