Why would he have? Well, because at this point, she hasn't just proved that the children are his she has proved that he is legally obligated. Because he has contracted a marriage with her by sleeping with her. This of course is the difference between prostitutes and honest women as the prostitutes are not going to attempt to enforce a marriage. They are sleeping with a series of men. In the Jewish law, they would they should be the wife of the first person who defloured. And the, the immorality consists in him not acting as her husband her not acting as his wife and all series of men committed adultery with her in her trade as a prostitute. The way to regularize things would be for her to live with the first man who had her. And that seems to be what Tamar has enforced she's not actually a prostitute she is someone who has the receipts so to speak and is able to force Judah to take her into his household and provide for her as a wife, or clothing her food. And normally the third thing that has from his wife is metal affection sex. And of course she doesn't need that from him anymore, probably neither of them wants it at this point. But that that is another instance I would submit of marriage by intercourse informal marriage. So is that so that's fascinating that the, I mean, is that how we should view people who have prepared us, you know, I mean, this is the can of worms but is that a biblical or is that a Jewish kind of like.
