Are You Going From Below the Line to Above the Line?
The book is largely about dealing, like going from a victim mindset to going towards a mindset of taking responsibility and taking ownership of our lives. In some ways you define that as going from below the line to above the line. When we're below the line, what that means is that we're in a triggered reactive state. And it means that we're closed and we're defensive and we're wanting to prove that we're right. Back when we're above the line, learning is our highest priority. We believe that the world is fundamentally friendly.
