What Kinds of Penances Do We Need to Subsist?
Father Gregory: We need to unburden ourselves from certain things that keep us from growing into all the fullness of God. He says we can't be like the Egyptians who just after having crossed the Red Sea begin to murmur and complain because the food is not nearly as good as it was in Egypt. Father Gregory: Having a consciousness of what are we still holding on to? What do we still attach to? So that way we can ask God for the grace to in burden ourselves, he says.
