The Divine Double

Stang wrote a book called The Divine Double, which is a follow up to a book he wrote on pseudodinesis. He's pointed to a particular motif that was prevalent in the Mediterranean world during and after the Hellenistic Dormand side of history. This notion of the Divine Double becomes prevalent through the spirituality of the Hellenism and post-Hellenistic period. You can see it in Vaticanism, you can see it clearly in Neoplatonism and Plotinus.
