I Love William James and I Love Free Will

As a student doing my PhD, I spent every evening at home with handheld calculator doing t-tests. It was so time consuming, hard to imagine now, isn't it? Yeah, but that's what I wanted to do because I was so sure I was right and I'm going to prove it. But you need some kind of purpose, I think, to be a, to be content with life. People who make meaning in their life are happier than those who don't. And the trouble with that is they can make their meaning out of God and life after death instead of this life.
