Is There a Real Inflation Problem?
i think inflation is probably going to run a little bit above the feds target during the 20 twenties, but not far above. i don't see why long term interest rates would be two % - which is the difference between the nominal and the real rate. And if we were entering a period of high inflation persistently below the fed's c p targets, basically as i said, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's the consensus of smart people with money on the line that this will end soon.
