Afghanistan - The Battle of Bandi Timor
There was a raid on the village of candahar. Canadian special forces were involved. Two afghan men were shot and killed. The district governor, a man named haji burget khan, was shot and captured. He had been one of the men who convinced the other villagers to side with the americans. Amidst the chaos, a six year old girl, zarguna, fell into a well and died. After conducting a house by house search that took hours, all o the men in the village were rounded up. And then their beards were shaven offa liarly humiliating act for observant moslems in afghanistan.
