The Story of Marina

Marina Abramovich was born Marina after her snake dream. Her mother Danica had a strict obsession for cleanliness and order she suspects it was a reaction to the chaos of her marriage when Danica would find out that one of Voio's girlfriends gave little Marina a present she would throw the gifts out of the window. The subjects of young Marina's first paintings are her dreams which she always writes down and then paints in just two dominant colors a deep green and a night blue at the age of 14. She recalls once during a rare period when they were speaking to each other my father came home for lunch and my mother said do you want soup and dumped the hot soup on his head
