The Light and Dark Polarities of Easter

The first Easter morning was indeed full of darkness. The followers of Jesus were deeply traumatized by the fact that he had been brutally murdered just days before this. Mary assumes, as she's caught up in the pain and the trauma of the moment, that someone stole Jesus' body. She didn't even go inside. She just saw the stone rolled away and ran and she assumed that the body was stolen.
