Hezekiah's Sickness
In verse nine of isaiah 38. This is the writing of hezekiah, king of judah,. when he had been sick and was recovered of his sickness. And what we see from verse ten on through the end of the chapter is this magnificent psalm from hezekiah. He it's a psalm of worry, that i was this close to dying. In some ways, his experience a parallels or mirrors the experience of his people. But imagine what it would have felt like to be living in judah, in jerusalem, at the time; just thinking we were this close from being destroyed ourselves.
