How to Figure Out if You Have Neuroplastic Pain
The Boulder Back Pain Study is a big randomized controlled study on the treatment of chronic back pain at University of Colorado Boulder. Every patient was evaluated by me and also by Howard Schubener, who's a physician who specializes in chronic pain. And much to my surprise, every patient in the treatment group ended up having neuroplastic pain. I knew it was common, but until that study, I didn't know it was that common. Most chronic pain is neuroplastic. But structurally caused chronic pain is the exception rather than the rule.
