The Authority of the Bible Isn't a Biblical View of Authority

i think it's very important to recognize that, if i'm a christian, what i know about jesus is mediated through the scriptures. The bible is trying to draw our attention to a persont who exists right now, we believe, and who lived and and rose again. A biblical view of authority starts right here,. It's all authority is in jesus and his mission that he's commissioned us towards. If our view of the bible doesn't help serve us in this mission, then i think we've gone astray from what JESUS is trying to tell us to do.
