Unshaken Saints

CHAPTER

The Faces of the Poor

In verse 15, powerful imagery here. In this metaphor, what's getting mixed in with the grain? Well, the workers who mill it are typically poorer than the people that are going to buy and then feast themselves. This is the exact opposite of zion that's supposed to be one heart and one mind,. because every one's dwelling in righteousness. No wonder he calls them a harlot. When you were supposed to be faithful to god, you've ruined all of this. We still live in a day of exploitation of workers, and especially among the poorest of the poor. We are grinding their faces.
