The biblical writers had a pre-modern, unscientific view of the world. So how can we trust them to accurately record what actually happened? It's an interesting statement. And I'd want to say you can test the Bible at many points and see its reasonable nature. We need to recognize that cultures can be very scientifically advanced in some ways and pretty immoral.
