Offstead's Impact on the Education Sector
Chief Inspector Amanda Spielman spoke for the first time since Ruth Perry's death. She defended Offstead's process suggesting it has become a lightning world for criticism. General Secretary of the National Education Union Mary Boused disagreed strongly with her assessment and claimed its inspectors were in many cases not qualified to make judgments on schools they inspected.
