We will always be finding ourselves in the biblical stories, and there's something so valuable about that. But i also encourage people to find themselves in the big story, the character that helps them to make sense of their lives. And oftentimes, honestly, it'll be a person where the painful aspect of their story makes sense of the painful aspects of yours that has shaped you. It touches those very early experiences that that shape who we are now.
