SpongeBob and Adventure Time

When you look back there's some pretty gnarly like I remember one where they're removing teeth like in a closer you see like the nerve endings coming out. The only thing was that SpongeBob is the only cartoon that carried on the grotesque close up shots. Red and Stimpy was the first in my memory to do exactly that. They would do the close punches of like just discuss like if they're like my teeth are gross. And like Flapjack did that a little bit. Some other cartoons did that but very few but SpongeBob albeit super family friendly did use the ultra grotesque close up.
