Think about how you would naturally respond when some one offers you the thing you're trying to stay away from. There are two responses i'm going to share with you, and they have a huge difference in changing behaviour and sticking to a plan. I can't is not your choice. It is instead a restriction. You really want to, but you can't. Sad face it, undermines your personal power. On the other hand, i don't is empowering. It affirms the choice you made and makes you feel determined, full of will power. Really the opposite of i can't. And the difference is huge.
