There's an alternative theory that this is just basically the levels of development are reflecting IQ differences. So, if you go look at East Asia and IQ, I mean, it's scoring well for decades now. The system is evolving to train people in a certain set of cognitive abilities. Because of the structure of our society, those cognitive abilities lead to success within those domains. And then they get cultivated. If you were a hunter gathering to believe in Amazon, those skills are virtually worthless. You got to be able to track and do have all these other cognitive skills. Those can be very much the product of schooling - emphasis on certain kinds of cognitive abilities,. emphasis on pursuing these kinds of things
