Conversation Questions for Middle Schoolers

Webonar's advice for parents of middle schoolers: Always start with general questions. These are safe questions about what's going on around your child, not specific to them. If you could go anywhere in the world to live for a year, where would you go? What do you think is most important to the other kids in your grade? And again, these are questions that you're keeping general,. not specific to your child. The purpose of these questions is to open up safe dialogues to reflect on the social climate at school and maybe in their friendship group.
