King's college physicist Dr. Malcolm Fairbend explains why he put a telescope on the roof of his university in Central London. He says there is nothing astronomical you can see during the day, but at night "you'd be surprised what you can see" If you want to see anything more than those colours, you have to go into space and that's why things like the Hubble Space Telescope have been so important.
