A falling housing market could lead to a reverse conclusion on inflation compared to what you have now. One of the things that could break the inflation rate, other than a restructuri of the economy, would ultimately fix it for a long time. Once you get into 23 f you see some serious problems with the economy. That ends the inflation problem. You've killed demand. But that's kind of not the way we to fix inflation, by destroying the economy. We, i would prefer that we recognize things need to be restructured, and then we could get back to long term two % inflation. Until then, we can't get back there.
