The Relationship Between Ego and Music

I wanted it to sound like a war. I'm done with this. That's the outward expression, but the internal expression is ego,. In the wrestle of, oh my gosh, I have to sit with this. This thing is never going to leave me. The only person I think has probably lived the longest life in service to something beyond the ego was the Dalai Lama. If you've written a song of this, you can't leave it behind altogether. Yeah. How does ego work for you?
