Bank Bonuses - The First Thing That Springes to My Eyes
It's the first thing that springs to my look, it wasn't that long ago that a cap on bankers bonuses was brought in. I was in the treasury at the time, and we opposed it. It looks like a bit of gesture poltics that did do a bit of harm to the city of london. As a policy, i don't think a bank bonus cap has a lot to be said for it. But getting rid of it, it's immensely difficult. And there's a reason why borris johnson's government didn't get rid of it. This w'll be almost the sort of first bit of obvious divergence from the eu, following our departure. And
