Niyazov's Clampdown on Civil Liberties

Turkmen Bosch: Niyazov clamped down on civil liberties even more. He ordered the secret police to monitor public conversations and asked citizens to report anti-national talk. Being Turkmen Bosch, he also did something insane and banned anyone in the country from listening to the radio while driving in their car.
