The Crusaders - A Book Review

Saladin abandons the siege of Tiberius and rejoins his army. The Franks march in their usual fighting formation but Muslim troops press him so hard that they're slowed down to a crawl. They run up to a nearby hill which is actually the peak of an extinct volcano called the Horns of Hetin where they put up a desperate last stand. But there they all eventually surrender are killed and the king of Jerusalem himself is captured. So at this point Saladin's pretty much wiped out every man who can bear arms in the kingdom before he cuts his army loose and allows him to rampage the land.
