Is the Interest Rate on Long Term Interest Rates Going Up?
The neutral rate of interest prior to the pandemic was maybe 2%. Where is it in your new world is it 3% 4% what is the level? I think right now that the interest rate at which the economy starts to really, you know, slow down from the fact that much of policy is too tight. It's probably about 3.5% on long term interest rates in the US. And so in terms of households, we're a long way from that because households have continuously locked in lower and lower interest rates.
