The One Piece of Advice I Would Give to My Adult Kids
LZ Granderson has two adult kids who he says have taught him more about being a man than anyone else in his life. LZ: The only experience I have that was replicatable was that I never gave up on me making mistakes and then going back to the kids and saying, Hey, I screwed up right there. What you just watched was a guy who never got taught. My dad was not around. My mom was busy. I had no role models. And so the only thing I have with the kids was just to never give up on yourself in terms of mistakes and then model to them what it looks like when you make a mistake.
