Quandong Stigma: The Seed of a New Baby Plant
All fruit comes from pollinated flowers. Plants use fruits to spread their seeds. Insects are great at getting seeds out into the world. Emus eat lots of fruit and travel long distances, pooping out the seeds wherever they get. We're so small now we can fit on a stigma with a single grain of pollen.
