Food would have to be kept a long term and sustained food for several years, or perhaps decades on these other other planets. One of the other things that i saw and thought about would bea perhaps where the market for space x would be as to create lower cost capabilities to launch satellites into space. So you could have fairly large pay load that you could carry into space at a cheaper cost than a existing technology.
