Ptolemy IV's Career

Ptolema IV was the son of Ptolemy II, and succeeded his grandfather as Egyptian king. His early years were relatively uneventful with no military expeditions conducted during that time. He did keep a close eye on affairs in the Mediterranean though, sending agents to broker peace between Greece and Carthage at two separate wars. While Talamity IV's career appears to have largely been quiet, if not downright unimpressive, his poor reputation likely was due to the declining competency of his government.
