Biomaterials - The Eye of a Rabbit
Tumors without blood vessels will not go beyond a very tiny size of about one millimeter cubed. But if the tumor is permeated by blood vessels, then that solves the nutrition problem for them and they can get much bigger. You used an eye of a rabbit to help with your research. Most biomaterials in the 70s had origins like that.
