Kennedy's campaign team convinced a local janitor to run a ballot paper in return for favors. The idea was to confuse voters with two candidates that had the same name. There is a statue of Winston Churchill outside the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., which always faces east. JFK: "I don't actually know which way it's facing"
